In normal mode, the machine will enter maintenance mode automatically when the mode button is
pressed downwards (open the lower cabinet door, press down the mode button) or the safe door is
opened.
In maintenance mode, you can select relevant tests or verify the operation via the maintenance

transaction terminates.
3.2. How to Enter Normal Mode from Maintenance Mode
In maintenance mode, when you have completed the operations such as replenishing receipt printer
paper etc., you can exit the maintenance mode according to the following procedures:
(1) Click the item “Exit Maintenance” on the screen of maintenance mode until the system prompts:
Do you want to exit? [1-Yes 0-No], or press “ESC” key on the numeric keypad (You can press
“ESC” key on external keypad as well) several times (The number of times pressing ESC key
depends on the operations you performed before) until the system prompts: Do you want to exit?
Select [1-Yes] to exit maintenance mode, the system will then run the self-test. This process may
take a few minutes.
(2) Check if the mode button is pressed downwards. If it is pressed downwards, press it again to
release it.
(3) Check if the safe door is closed. If it is open, please close it.
(4) If the system passes the self-test, it will enter normal mode. If self test fails, system may remain
in maintenance mode until all problems are solved or enter normal mode (Depending on users’
requirement).
Note: If the safe door is open or the mode button is pressed downwards, system will prompt you:
Please close the door.
