Tank
The tank is located opposite the arm of the tool carrier. In that way, the
hydraulic oil is also used as a counterweight.
Maximum oil level is when the oil reaches the top sight glass.
Minimum oil level is when the bottom sight glass is less than half full.
The oil is filled into the return filter. Unscrew the lid of the
return filter and pour the new oil onto the top of the filter. In
that way, the new oil is filtered.
The hydraulic oil
GreenTec uses high quality "Shell Tellus S2 VX 46" hydraulic oil.
Additionally, biodegradable oil can be selected when purchasing a new machine. The
biodegradable oil used is "Shell Naturelle HF-E 46.
The two oils are miscible, but if mixed, the requirement for adequate biodegradation will
not be met. Therefore, it is advisable not to change to biodegradable oil if the machine
is "born" with normal hydraulic oil. (It is a very extensive operation to drain and flush the
entire hydraulic system).

Durability: The oil is very durable. Its life is shortened when exposed to
temperatures above 100 °C or if water or other contaminants pollute the oil. For a
long life, keep an eye on the oil and replace the filter regularly. If you suspect that
the oil has been contaminated or damaged by high temperatures, GreenTec
recommends submitting an oil sample to your local oil supplier.
If the hydraulic oil is worn out, the entire hydraulic system is gradually worn out
unnecessarily. Pump, engine, valves, and cylinders.
