5.4.2 OPERATOR’S WORKPLACE (f)
The RI barrier mower must always be mounted on a vehicle using a multi carrier and therefore the
attachment tool is handled when operating from/from the vehicle.
Know and understand the operation of the vehicle and multi carrier in order to
operate the attachment tool safely.
The operator's workplace is always the driver's cabin of the vehicle, where the
multi carriers control panel etc. are placed.
Connection and assembly of the machine may only be carried out by
professionals who have knowledge and understanding of hydraulic systems.
This is to avoid contamination of the environment, leaks and contamination
of the closed hydraulic system!
Very much depending on how the position of the RI barrier mower is in relation to the operator, there may be
stressful working positions.
It is important that the operator can follow and control the work of the attachment tool, while also being
aware of the course of the road, traffic conditions etc. It is many things at once, and often with a twist on the
back and/or neck. In the long run, this can strain the body's musculoskeletal system and it is therefore
recommended to take breaks.
5.4.3 TRANSPORTING MULTI CARRIER AND ATTACHMENT TOOL ON VEHICLE (p)
Common to all transport positions for GreenTec's
attachment tools is that the construction ensures
that the tool will always point towards the vehicle
without being a danger or a nuisance to either the
driver, pedestrians or other road users.
ALWAYS drive with ALL safety
guards/mechanisms on the attachment tool,
while transporting the multi carrier and the
attachment tool.
If driving on public roads, it is the operator's responsibility to comply with the
applicable traffic law.
The attachment tool must not cover the lighting of either the vehicle or the
multi carrier. Additional lighting should be installed here.
The accompanying safety devices must always be fitted when transporting all
types of GreenTec attachment tools on the vehicle. (Safety shielding, locking
mechanisms, etc.)
