BUILD THE TRELLIS WALL
Hold a 16in. Board on the ground so it’s standing on edge with the
notched ends to the left and right. Slide a Trellis Post down over one
notched end of the Board. Next, slide another Trellis Post over the other
notched end. This forms the Trellis wall.

BUILD TWO SHORT WALLS
Repeat Step One using Tall Posts to complete two more walls.

BUILD A FRAME WITH TRELLIS ON ONE SIDE
Place the Trellis wall and one short wall parallel to each other and
connect them into a rectangle with two 4ft. Boards. This forms the
frame of a 16in. x 4ft. Garden Bed with Trellis on one side.
4.
DECIDE WHERE YOU WANT THE TRELLIS AND BUILD
THE SECOND FRAME
The Trellis can go on either end of the Garden Bed, or in the center,
depending on where you attach the second 16in. x 4ft. frame. Once
you decide, place the other short wall from Step Two parallel to the
correct wall and connect them into a rectangle with two more 4ft.
Boards, completing a 16in. x 8ft. rectangle.
5.
FINISH GARDEN BED WALLS
Add one more Board, one at a time, directly on top of each existing
Board in the frame. Push the Boards down evenly between the tops
of the Posts. If needed, tap snugly into place with a rubber mallet.
6.
BUILD THE TRELLIS
Slide one Spacer into the top of each Trellis Post, then add one Slat on top
of the Spacers and push them down directly on top of the existing wall.
Repeat Step Six using all the Spacers and Slats to complete the Trellis.
