HOW TO JUICE WHEATGRASS, BARLEY GRASS, ALFALFA, CARRORT,
KALE, BEET, LEAFY GREENS & OTHER VEGETABLES
(MACHINE SET UP)
Parts with
Twin Gears
Vegetable Screen
Pulp Discharge Casing
Pulp Outlet Adjusting Knob
(White Knob for Vegetables, Red Knob for Wheatgrass)
1.Install
Twin Gears
.
2.Slide
Vegetable Screen
over the Twin Gears.
3.Install
Pulp Discharge Casing
with the
Pulp Outlet Adjusting Knob
(Use White Knob for vegetables, but Use the Red Knob when juicing wheatgrass, heavily
stringent, fibrous vegetables. The red knob can release those hard pulp out smoothly through the
pulp discharge casing and generate less foam).
Close the knob completely by turning it clockwise.
Do not over-tighten
as it may cause breakage.
Then, open the knob about half way by turning it
counter-clockwise after there are a few drops of juice.
4.Install Feeding Chute Cover.
5.Place
Juice Bowl (Cup)
under the juice outlet.
6.Place
Pulp Container
(not provided) under the pulp discharge outlet to collect pulp.
7.Use either
Plastic or Wooden Pusher
to help feed vegetables into the feeding chute.
TIPS !
1.Feed small, handful amounts of wheatgrass tip down, into the feeding chute. The wooden pusher
may not be necessary as the wheatgrass will be self-fed into the machine as long as appropriate
amounts are fed at a time. Do not overload.
2. For juicing carrots
, completely depress food into the feeding chute with the wooden pusher and
then feed additional food. Don’t worry about depressing the wooden pusher till it touches the twin
gears. It will not harm the gears or plunger. The plunger is made from the same high quality wood
as those found in fine chopping blocks. Any accidental particles of cellulose scrapped off from
contact with the twin gears are natural and non-toxic and will harmlessly pass into the pulp.
Cutting carrots aren’t necessary as long as the diameters fit into the feeding chute. However for
best results, we suggest you cut the carrots lengthwise into 5 to 6 inches parts and always insert
the thinner part first as it would be grabbed more effectively by the twin gears.
Please insert a
piece after one piece crushed down completely
. Do not put a number of small chopped pieces
of carrots at a time into the feeding chute.
3. Dandelion, Parsley, Endive or other leafy greens: By feeding small, handful amounts at a time
the leafy greens will be self-fed into the juicer by the twin gears. Please insert the stem part of the
leafy greens first for self-feeding.
4. When juicing a combination of stringent, fibrous vegetables and leafy greens, herbs, please be
sure to completely empty the feeding chute of all fibrous vegetables before introducing any of the
leafy greens
