4.2 Safety Notices for Installation, Maintenance and Relocation
(1) Do not mix any substance other than refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit during installation or
relocation. Do not leave any air in the pipe. If air or other substances are mixed, system
pressure will rise and the compressor will burst and cause damage.
(2) Do charge the specified refrigerant type during installation or relocation. If other refrigerant
type is charged, it may cause problems such as poor operation, malfunction, mechanical
failure, etc., and even a major safety accident.
(3) When refrigerant shall be recycled during relocation or maintenance, you must use pressure
gauge. First, perform the cooling operation, and then completely close the valve (liquid valve)
at high pressure side. When the pressure gauge reads 0~0.05 MPa, completely close the
valve (gas valve) at low pressure side. Then stop operation immediately and cut off the
power.
(4) When recycling the refrigerant, it is necessary to ensure that the liquid valve and gas valve
are completely closed and the power is turned off before removing the connection pipe. If
the connection pipe is removed before cutting off power supply with compressor operating,
air will get into it and system pressure will rise, so that compressor burst may happen to
cause damage.
(5) When installing the unit, make sure that the connection pipe is securely connected before
starting the compressor. If the compressor is started before the connection pipe is
connected and the cut-off valve is open, of the connecting pipe is completed and the shut-off
valve is opened, air will get into it and system pressure will rise, so that compressor burst
may happen to cause damage.
(6) Wiring between indoor and outdoor units must be properly connected using the specified
wires, and the terminals should not be reliably fixed without the direct effect of external force.
