Copying, Moving and Swapping Button Functions
The Firebird Control Console lets you click and drag to copy or move button
functions from one button to another or from the
can even swap functions between two buttons.
1. Click your right mouse button on a button and choose Copy, Move, or
Swap from the pop-up menu.
As you move your mouse pointer away from the first button, you’ll notice a
circle-C, -M, or -S symbol attached to an image of the button.
2. Click on another button.
If you chose Copy, the function of the first button is copied to the second; the
first remains the same. If you chose Move, the first button’s function is copied to
the second button, and the first button is now unconfigured. If you chose Swap,
the first button’s function is now applied to the second button, and the second
button’s to the first.
Shortcut: To copy a button function, left-click and drag from one button to
another. Release the mouse button to apply the setting. To move a button
function, do the same thing, but hold down the <Shift> key while you release
the mouse button. To swap button functions between two buttons, hold down
the <Ctrl> key while you release the mouse button.
