SERVICE LUBRICATION
Grease
Use a general all-purpose grease with an
NLGI grade No.2 rating.
Lubrication Points
•
Apply grease to caster wheel bearings
(A) on both sides.
•
Apply grease to front caster wheel
pivot bushings (B) on both sides.
•
Apply grease to spindle bearings (C),
until grease is expelled from vent on
spindle housings.
•
Apply grease to drive belt idler arm
pivot joint (D).
Spray Lubricant
Use a general-purpose petroleum-based
spray lubricant. Lubricate the following
control items:
•
Apply spray lubricant to steering
control levers pivot shaft (E). (988156,
57, 58, 59)
•
Apply spray lubricant to throttle control
cable (F).
•
Apply spray lubricant to choke control
cable (G)
•
Apply spray lubricant to upper and
lower parking brake linkages (H).
•
Apply spray lubricant to hydro pump
upper (J) and lower (K) control
linkages on both sides.
