important that these files retain these names, as the number determines
which register will receive the data when files are loaded. In fact, E-MEM
files saved locally to the Frame:C drive cannot be renamed. If you try to
rename an E-MEM file on the Frame:C drive an error message will appear
in the message area. If for some reason an E-MEM file needs to be renamed,
copy it to a local drive and rename it.
Saving E-MEMs
Save All E-MEMs
When the
All
button is selected, all 100 registers will be saved into the direc-
tory named in the Target Location data pad. To save to another location
other than the current directory, touch the data pad and type the directory
name with the alphanumeric keypad, then touch
Enter
. Press the
Save
button
to save all 100 E-MEM registers (
Register 0 – 99
) into the named directory.
Save E-MEM Banks
To save E-MEM banks, touch the
Bank(s)
button. You may save a single
E-MEM bank or a range of contiguous banks. To save a single bank, enter
a single bank number (
Bank 0 – 9
). To save a multiple range of banks, enter
the banks numbers with a period (.) between the first and last number to
indicate the contiguous bank range.
For example, to save Banks 3 through 5, enter 3.5. When you do this, the
display will change to indicate that Registers 30 through 59 are being
saved. Touch
Save
to save the selected banks in the directory shown in the
Target Location or choose another location by touching the data pad and
entering another directory name.
Save Single E-MEMs
To save E-MEM registers, touch the
Reg(s)
button. You may save a single
E-MEM register or a range of contiguous registers. To save a single register,
enter a single register number (
Register 0 – 99
). To save a multiple range of
contiguous registers, enter the register numbers with a period (.) between
the first and last register to indicate the contiguous range.
For example, to save Registers 0 through 25, enter 0.25. The display will
change to
Register 0 – 25
to indicate the register range being saved. Touch
Save
to save the selected registers in the directory shown in the Target Loca-
tion or choose another location by touching the data pad and entering
another directory name.
