Chapter 4 Removing and Replacing FRUs

Front USB group unit removal

1. Remove the front panel.

• For more information, see

"Front panel removal" on page 107

2. Remove the front USB group unit from the T2.

(1) Remove two screws (with springs and small washers) on the both edges of the

front side of the front USB group unit.

(2) Remove the USB group unit from the T2 in the direction of the arrow.

3. Disconnect the cables.

(1) Disconnect the power switch cable.
(2) Disconnect the USB cable (black).
(3) Disconnect the USB cable (white).
(4) Disconnect the audio cable.
(5) Cut off the cable ties with nippers, and then remove the recovery UFD.

NOTE: When you install the recovery UFD, insert the cable ties from the holes on

the board, install the UFD, and then fix it with the cable ties.
