5.4 Utility power

Note
When the SuperXpander/Xpander is used in local power mode utility power is not available.
5.4.1 LDK 4488 SuperXpander
When the LDK 4486 Utility power unit is installed (default) two power outputs are available.
The socket on the left provides a fixed voltage of 15 V
DC
. The socket on the right provides a
variable voltage between 0 V
DC
and 12 V
DC
that can be set in the menu (menu 1 > page 3) of
the control panel.

Note
The maximum power drawn from the variable output should not exceed 50 W while power
drawn from both outputs combined should not exceed 120 W. If the variable output is not
used, the fixed output can deliver max. 120 W.
5.4.2 LDK 4489 Xpander
When the LDK 4486 Utility power unit is installed (default) one power output is available. The
socket on the left provides a fixed voltage of 15 V

. The socket on the right is not used. Power
consumption is max. 120 W.
