System Configuration
This chapter shows how to configure the multiviewer.
System Requirements for a Client PC
A client PC or laptop meeting the following requirements is required to access the XAdmin
Web client, and the other Kaleido Software client applications.
Frame Configuration Prerequisites
Before configuring the multiviewer, the multiviewer requires that the following multiviewer
frame configuration parameters be set.
• The frame’s network configuration.
• The
frame’s
date and time settings or the Network Time Protocol (NTP) settings.
To set
the date and time, see Setting the Multiviewer’s Time and Date , on page 34 .
• Frame reference configuration if the multiviewer’s output is to be referenced. See also
Genlocking the Multiviewer , on page 92.

Multiviewer Model Representation in XEdit and XAdmin
The name used to represent a multiviewer model is shown in the table below.
Operating system Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, or Windows 7.
Processor The minimum required by the operating system or better.
Memory The minimum required by the operating system plus 2 GB or more.
Disk space The minimum required by the operating system plus 2 GB or more.
