8943RDA-D
Dual SD/HD/3G-SDI reclocking distribution amplifier,
front and rear module set
The 8943RDA-D is a dual input SD/HD/3G-SDI
reclocking distribution amplifier. It provides two
electrical inputs that can be mapped to feed
any of four reclocked electrical output pairs
(one input per output pair). The module is also
completely DVB ASI compliant.
It can distribute either HD/3G-SDI or SD-SDI,
making it ideal for mixed format applications or
installations where an upgrade to HD/3G-SDI
is planned. Up to 90 meters for input 1 (J9),
100 meters for input 2 (J10) of Belden 1694A
cable can be equalized for HD/3G-SDI and up
to 440 meters for SD-SDI.
All parameters can be configured directly
from the card edge or via a standard HTML
Web browser when the 8900NET (Net Card)
Network Interface module has been installed.
The module operation and configuration, as
well as the signal presence and format, can
be monitored using industry standard SNMP
protocol via the 8900NET (Net Card) module.
