When the user login is enabled, a Select Screener List
is presented after the device boots up. The list of
screeners is created in the HearSIM PC program and
transferred into Novus. If there are more than 8
screeners in the list,

Up

and

Down

arrow controls in

the bottom control bar allow you to move through
pages of names. Alternatively, you may select the

Search

button in the bottom control bar to type in

characters of the screener name using the on-screen
keyboard. After entering the name of the screener,
select the

Search

button again to obtain a list of

matching entries. Select the screener name from the
list to proceed to the password entry screen.

When a screener is selected, the password entry
screen is presented. Enter the password in the
password entry screen using the on-screen keyboard
and select the

Check

button in the bottom control

bar. If an incorrect password is entered, a message
will appear indicating that the password entered was
incorrect. The message will display for several
seconds and then disappears, clearing the entry field
so that you can try again to enter the password.

Once the password has been entered correctly the

Home

screen is displayed.
