Chapter 5  FUNCTION SETTINGS AND OPERATIONS

5.3  Raising/Lowering the Tool

Ths functon allows you to rase or lower the tool from the control panel.

(1)  Press the 

[PAUSE] key

 to select PAUSE mode.

(2) Press the 

[NEXT] key

 repeatedly untl the followng menu s dsplayed.

QUALITY

 MARK      TOOL U/D

 BUFFER CLR.   VIEW

(3) Press the 

[F3] key

 (TOOL U/D) to rase or lower the tool. Each tme the 

[F3] key

 s pressed, the tool s alternately 

rased and lowered.

(4)  Press the 

[PAUSE] key

 to cancel PAUSE mode.

While using this function, keep your hands out of the vicinity of the pen carriage.
