HA DETAilS
Engine performance
Maximum engine output for your RANGER
is 15 HP / 11 KW.
Engine weight
Maximum permissible engine weight is 45
kg. The weight of an engine affects the boats
performance, and stability, particularly du-
ring the phase of moving from displacement
to planing mode. When choosing between
engines of equal power, we recommend op-
ting for the lighter one.
Shaft length
Standard shaft engine (S).
Engine Height
Engine dimensions vary between different
makes of similar shaft types by a few cm of
shaft length. You should be able to compen-
sate such by means of a spacer piece, (i.e. a
piece of wood ...).
► Lace the rolled up boat by means of a
line or strap.
CAUTiON: The boat must not be stored
in this state for longer periods! (Refer
„care and storage“)
► You may now pack your boat and stan-
dard accessories into your pack-bag or
rucksack (special accessory).
CAUTiON: Check for completion of all
parts!
► If you still find residue of air inside air
chambers of the boat, you may not be
able to successfully stow your boat into
your bag or rucksack.
(In the event of that unroll the boat and repeat
the process of rolling up once more).
WARNiNG: Never exceed the max. per-
missible engine weight!
NOTiCE: When the engine position is too
high, the prop may pop out of the water,
rev in the air and loose forward propul-
sion. if positioned too deep, the boat may
loose speed and become difficult to steer.
► Unroll and place the boat flat on the
ground, the eyelet studded coaming
should meet in the middle.
► Fold the boat lengthwise in the middle
► Roll up the boat over the reinforcement-
strokes.
► Fold the bow over to the inside of the
roll and continue until finish.
WARNiNG: Never use an engine exceed-
ing the recommended output as stated per
manufacturers specification label or man-
ual. you would contravene the law, and
risk loosing control over your boat.
