the service is activated for you.

16.10. Send Messages to Driver

16.10.1. Message via SMS

With activated mobile services you can send the driver a message from your computer

via the SMS services of the mobile phone providers to the GPSeye IN1. This option,

however, is subject to

additional transmission costs

, which can not be influenced by

the GPSoverIP GmbH, since the provider’s services are provided separately.

We thus recommend sending short messages via the service DATAoverIP and/or the

IN/Out box (refer to section „

16.10.2 Message via DATAoverIP

In the same way you can also send an SMS to a mobile phone.

To find out the SMS calling number of the GPSeye IN1, send an SMS from the GPSeye

IN1 to a mobile phone of your choice. To ease the work of your system administrator, you

may want to send the device number that you can find on the device at tab

information for the system administrator to list the vehicle fleet inside the company and

therefore avoid mistakes at deliveries.
