Chapter 11 – Updating the Antenna Firmware

Updating the Antenna Firmware

First call up the service interface (see section 9.1 on page 31).

1.

Set the device to DFU mode (Device Firmware Upgrade) by pressing the 

 key.

2.

Close the connection via the COM port in the terminal program (hang up/dis

-

connect).

For the further steps the firmware as 

.dfu

 file, as well as the software 

DfuSe

 from ST

Microelectronics is needed. The firmware file is available on request from Götting
KG. The 

DfuSE

 software can be downloaded at the following address:

http://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-stm32080.html

3.

Download 

DfuSE

, install the program and start it. It starts in Demo GUI mode, 

which is sufficient for the firmware update.

4.

Use 

Choose

 to select the 

.dfu

 firmware update file provided by Götting KG.
