With HyperTerminal the file is transferred as follows:

Send Text file
in the menu

. The following window
will be opened:

Switch to disk drive (in our example, the files are located on the hard disk) and
select the respective *.txt file.

. The file will be transferred and (if you have chosen the right file)
the monitor program will be started. The menus will then appear directly in the
HyperTerminal window. At first, you will see the main menu from Figure 13 on
page 36.
6.3.2 How to work with the monitor program
Any change to the interface parameters will be activated after a system reset (switch
the antenna off and on again). Afterwards it may be necessary to use a different file
from the four given *txt. documents for the monitor call!
Once the transfer of the *txt.file (section 6.3.1) has been completed, the monitor pro
-
gram will start the main menu. If this is not the case, you have either based your set
-
tings on wrong system configuration or you are using a different terminal emulation
or you did not adjust the character delay to 1 ms.
NOTICE
Decreased positioning accuracy due to wrong values
False timing values can detune the antenna so that Transponders are no longer
correctly read.
Only alter values for the system interface.
