Fault
Cause / remedy
Difficult opening of the door
•
If you want to open the immediately closed
door of the freezer you may experience
resistance. This happens because certain
quantity of cold air escapes from the appliance
through the open door and is replaced by
warm ambient air. Cooling of such air creates
negative pressure (vacuum) which prevents
easy opening of the door. Situation is
normalized after a few minutes, and you can
open the door with ease.
Bulb replacement
•
Before replacing the light bulb, disconnect the
appliance form the power supply. Press the
cover at the rear side with your fingers (in the
arrow 1 direction) to detach it from its position.
Remove the plastic cover (in the arrow 2
direction). Replace the bulb with a new one –
halogenous or standard (E 14, max. 25 W -
Osram Halolux, Philips H.E.) and fit back the
cover.
•
Don't forget: the old bulb does not belong to
organic waste.
•
Light bulb is consumption material and is not
covered with the warranty.
Digital temperature display
flashes
•
This is normal when setting the refrigerator or
freezer temperature.
•
In case of power failure.
•
When the temperature is outside normal limits.
•
When the letter
E
appears on the display, call
the service center.
Troubleshooting helpful hints
•
If none of the above proves effective and you
can not remove the fault by yourself, call the
nearest service center and tell them the
information from the rating plate: type of
appliance, model and serial number, located
inside or at the rear of the appliance.
