9.2.3.5. Operation specifications for phase cables and related parts replacement:
1. Steps: see the diagram (Figure 6)
Step 1: Use a ratchet wrench to remove the 8 hex flange bolts fixed on the phase cover, check whether the screw
threads are damaged and severely rusted, and replace if necessary.
Step 2: Remove the cover and check whether foreign matter entered junction box. If there is, remove it .
(wet tools prohibited).
Step 3: Check whether the cover of the junction box is deformed and replace it if necessary.
Step 4: Use a hexagonal wrench to remove the 6 screws assembly which fix the phase cable, check the screw
threads for damage and serious corrosion, and replace if necessary.
Step 5: Use a cable socket wrench to remove the cable gland cover, remove the cables that need to be replaced, and
then remove the cable gland base.
Step 6: Use a cable socket wrench to install the new cable gland base to the junction box with a torque of 25Nm.
Step 7: Install the new cable to the junction box, and tighten the screw (HW-2316) with a torque of 20Nm.
Step 8: Use a cable socket wrench to fasten the cable gland cover on the new cable with a torque of 12Nm.
Step 9: Install the seal ring opening upward to the junction box, as shown in the figure (7).
Step 10: Use a fixed-value torque wrench to install the cover on the junction box with 8 hexagon flange bolts. The
tightening torque is 9 ± 1Nm. Before installation, check whether there is any foreign matter in the junction
box again, and the treatment method is the same as step 2.
Step 11: After the replacement is completed, perform an insulation test on the motor. Use an insulation resistance
meter by 500Vdc or 1000Vdc voltage range. The positive test lead touches each phase of the motor, and
the negative test lead touches the frame. Press the test button, wait for the value to stabilize and record it.
