FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
Test function
The
Test
button is used to start and stop the automatic leak check. After the pumping time,
the resting time and the measuring time have expired, the measured pressure difference is
displayed in mbar as the result of the leak check and the test log is printed in duplicate.
After the test** has been completed, press the
Test
button to generate a new
test number for the next test.
PUMP function
The
Pump
button is used to start and stop the generation of a continuous pressure of approx.
150mbar, the LEDs and flash to show the pump function for the leak check. As long as
the pressure is not reached or when a leak prevents the pressure building up, the integrated
pump continues working until a pressure of 150mbar is reached and then switches off. If the
pressure drops, the pump starts again automatically.
This function makes it easier to detect leaks in the tubing system. The current pressure is
shown in the LCD display.
INFO function
The
Info
button is used to select the current pressure or the remaining resting or measuring
time for display during the automatic leak check. If the leak testing is inactive, a test log with
the values from the last test carried out can be printed by pressing the
Info
button.
Automatic excess pressure cut-off safety function
In TEST and PUMP mode the pump switches off if a pressure of 170mbar is exceeded.
In PUMP mode, if the pressure falls below 160mbar again, the pump switches on
automatically.
Stand-by mode
In stand-by mode (status when the electronic test device is switched on or when the PUMP or
TEST functions are deselected) the last measured or current pressure is displayed in mbar.
