INSTRUCTIONS:
1.- Remove contents from the box and check for any damage. Verify all parts against parts
list.
2.- Read and understand instructions completely before begining installation.
3.- Install front mountig bracket using ½” x 1 ¼” lg. hex head bolts, ½” flat washers, , ½”
lockwashers, ½” hex nuts, and backing plate. (backing plat, and bolts must be placed in
through the underside of body mount with bolts protruding through holes in bottom of body
mount, as shown in parts diagram.) tighten finger tight.
4.- Install rear mounting bracket using 5/16” x 1” lg. hex head bolts, 5/16” flat washers,
5/16” lockwashers, 5/16” hex nuts, and ½” x 1 ¼” log. Hex head bolt, ½” flat washers, and
lockwasher. (Place bolts through holes in body mount as shown in parts diagram.)
Tighten finger tight.
5.- Place step bar tube up to front and rear brackets and fasten with ½” x 1 ½” lg. hex head
bolts, ½” flat washers, and ½” lockwashers. (as shown in parts diagram) tighten, and torque
step bar bolts to 65 ft/lbs.
6.- Check to be sure step bar is properly aligned with truck, then tighten and torque mountig
bracket bolts. (1/2” bolsts - 65 ft/lbs.) (5/16”D bolts - 15 ft/lbs.)
7.- Clean flattened area.
