5.2.10 Keypad
The keypad version of the GDU
net
will only allow users to test /
calibrate an instrument after a user ID has been entered.
The user, when prompted, enters an ID code (can be up to 9
digits) followed by the # key.
Fig. 5-11 is an example of keypad entry.

The GDUnet will automatically revert back to ‘Enter ID then #’,
in the following circumstances:
• After 10 seconds, an instrument has not been inserted
for testing. Additionally, the buzzer will sound and the test
LED’s will illuminate in sequence.
•
An incorrect ID is entered. ‘INVALID ID’ will flash on the
LCD.
• An instrument is removed from the GDU
net
.
During each instrument test, the GDU
net
logs the User ID.
