Console Interface
The CM40/CM50 console presents an AT interface to control and interact with the radio. AT
Command Entry is performed in the General Options of Radio Settings.
Physical Interface
The console has a 12 V RS-232 level interface available through the DB9 connector on the cable
41B0266. The cable 41B0266 is connected to the auxiliary connector J801 on the radio PCB. The
pinout of the DB9 connector is shown below.
NOTE:
A USB-to-serial converter is required to connect the 41B066 cable to the PC USB port.

Terminal Connection
Use a terminal program such as PuTTY or TeraTerm to connect to the radio. The default connection
details are shown in the table below:
