Notes:

2. The power source on the battery input should be able to supply 500mA pulse current (at 3.7V) for 1.5
seconds. If the end-application expects to have 16 packet messages, the supply should be able to provide this
pulse current up to 16 times in succession.
3. If a battery is used, the VAR/installer should verify the battery’s performance at the application’s lowest
expected ambient temperature before proceeding with the selected battery.
4. The ST100 has the option to install a battery protection circuit. The VAR/installer will need to inform
Globalstar before ordering PCBs if this feature is desired.
5. Both the 0.75V and 50mW requirements must be met on the solar input for charging a depleted battery.
