STANDARD MESSAGING MODE - WITH MOTION
MOTION SETTINGS TAB
The Motion Settings Tab of the Configuration
Software is used to define the Message Interval
while In Motion. This tab also contains the
Vibration Detection Settings, which defines the
sensitivity of the vibration sensor and how it
determines the device is In Motion.
NOTE:
To be In Motion, the SmartOne device
has to meet the In Vibration criteria as well as
move outside of the 200 meter geofence.
• Message Interval while In Motion -
This parameter defines the transmission interval of location messages while
SmartOne is In Motion with a transmission rate between 5 minutes to 45 Days. The default is 10 minutes. To
turn on this feature, select the Enabled checkbox.
• Vibration Detection Settings Button -
This button activates
the Vibration Detection Settings window which contains
settings to define how the motion sensor determines that the
SmartOne is in a state of vibration. These parameters include
Accelerometer Sensitivity, Vibration Sensor Sensitivity, Time
to be in a State of Vibration and the Time to be in a State of
Lacking Vibration.
• SmartOne C/Solar: Accelerometer Sensitivity -
The vibration sensor has a range of sensitivity from 2 to 7 (2 being
most sensitive and 7 being least sensitive). The smaller the sensitivity level, the more sensitive the motion sensor
would be to movement.
• SmartOne B: Vibration Sensor Sensitivity -
The vibration sensor has a range of sensitivity from 4 to 31 (4 being
most sensitive and 31 being least sensitive). The smaller the sensitivity level, the more sensitive the motion
sensor would be to movement.
• Time to be in a State of Vibration -
Time the motion sensor must be above the sensitivity level before entering a
State of Vibration.
• Time to be in a State of Lacking Vibration -
Time the vibration sensor must be below the sensitivity
level before entering a State of Lacking Vibration.
• Abort Save/Save Settings buttons -
Perform requested function of settings.
