The Cat 5/6 Cable will be coiled up at the base of
the mounting bracket. This will need to be
uncoiled and threaded thru the conduit before the
conduit is attached to the inline connector at the
bottom of the bracket.

Climb up the pole with MRI-1000 assembly and
attach it to the pole with the lag bolts using a
power driver. Have an assistant stand the conduit
containing the cable up on the pole while the MRI
Bracket is being secured as this will be connected
and attached next.

Once the MRI Bracket assembly is attached to the
pole, move the conduit into place and insert it into
the compression in line connector and tighten
with channel lock pliers. Using the conduit
clamps secure the conduit to the pole.

Add additional conduit as required then add liquid
tight (Customer provided) to the entry point of the
enclosure where the junction box will be
mounted. Run the cable thru this and into the
enclosure.
Install Junction Box
1.
Mount the junction box conveniently inside
the enclosure and route the cable thru the gray
Gland Nut on the bottom end of the box.
Connect the Cat 5/6 cable to the terminal strip
inside the junction box observing the
following pin outs. These must exactly match
the order of that used in the Outdoor Unit.

Pin 2 Orange----Tip
•
Pin 3 Green/white----Ring
•
Pin 4 Blue----+48VDC
•
Pin 5 Blue/white----+48VDC
•
Pin 6 Green----Not Used
•
Pin 7 Brown/white----48VDC
Return/Gnd
•
Pin 8 Brown----48VDC Return/Gnd
Note: CAT-5/6 cable is not always manufactured
with the wire colors shown above. If your
cable is different, be sure to record the colors
used at each terminal in the Outdoor Unit, and
then ensure that the same colors are used at
each terminal in the Junction Box.
