Auto answer enable
The tick box for the auto answer enable option in the settings menu is designed to be
simple and easy to use.
If the tick box is ‘ticked’ then the GS-MPI005HD will answer an incoming call
automatically and if it is not ticked then you must manually answer the call.
Call transfers divert to Dante only NOT handset
The tick box for this option disables the handset.
If the tickbox is checked then the handset cannot be used for making / receiving
calls.
The reason for this option is to allow the ‘handset’ circuit of the Dante to always work
even if the actual handset is on hook.
MAC Address
The MAC Address is programmed at the factory and once set cannot be changed.
To see the MAC address that is assigned to the phone module then just click on the
MAC address label.
This MAC address relates to the phones Ethernet port, each phone module fitted
have their own Ethernet port and MAC address.
This MAC address does not apply to the Dante® network interface Ethernet port.
The MAC address of this can be found using Dante Controller and looking in the
Status tab.
