The Gateway permits to separately set the
brightness value for each DALI group after
bus or mains voltage return separately.
The group will be switched off.
The group will be adjusted to the
brightness value specified in the drop-down
menu next to the parameter. The
adjustable value is restricted by the
parameterized minimum and maximum
brightness.
After bus/ mains voltage return, the
brightness value that was internally stored
last prior to the bus/ mains voltage failure
will be tracked.
Following a bus/ mains voltage failure, the
DALI devices of a group will show no
response and keep the current brightness
value or remain switched off.
Independent of the “Switching” object, the
Staircase timer function will be activated
after bus/ mains voltage return. Make sure
that the Staircase timer function has been
enabled. In case the Staircase timer
function has not been enabled, this setting
will produce no reaction after the return of
bus/ mains voltage.
Setting “Brightness value as prior to bus
voltage failure”: When programming the
application or the parameters with the
ETS, the internally stored switching state
will be reset to “Off – 0".
The parameterized response will always
be executed after bus/ mains voltage
return. It must be pointed out that after a
bus/ mains voltage return a forced-
control position might also be activated
which, if applicable, can affect the
brightness status of the group.
Type of additional
function
No additional function
Disable function
Forced-control position
function
This parameter can be used to define and
to enable the additional function. The
disable function can only be parameterized
as an alternative to the forced-control
position function.
