Detailed Description
Two-Head Pump and Purge Valve
the two-head pump can deliver mobile phases at flow rates up to 500 mL/min (depending
on model) with low residual pulsation. PLC Purification Systems utilize high performance, dual
piston, reciprocal pumps. the pump generates suction through a system of pulleys, belts, and
a stepper motor, which drives the cams and pistons. for plumbing connections, refer to the
table on
page 26 .
a manual valve at the outlet (black knurled knob) allows users to easily purge or prime the
pump; the valve is associated with a pressure transducer, which monitors the pressure in the
system.
