ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
A. Installation of the Pedestal Spacer:
1. Turn mixer power switch <OFF> and disconnect power
cord from wall receptacle.
2. Remove the bowl and beater.
3. Lay the mixer down on the opposite side from the control
panel, or turn completely upside down. If put on its side,
the pedestal arm must be supported to hold the bowl height
adjustment lever off the table top. If turned upside down,
the pedestal arm must be clamped to stabilize the mixer
during installation of the pedestal spacer.
4. Remove the four Phillips machine screws connecting the
pedestal base to the pedestal spacer.
5. Remove and set aside the screen.

6. Set the pedestal base aside.
7. Determine top-bottom orientation of the metal spacer
block by matching the pedestal arm contour. The four bolt
holes on the spacer are evenly spaced. The spacer must
be oriented correctly front to back.
8. Align the four holes on the spacer block with the four holes
on the pedestal arm. Next, align the pedestal base over
the four holes of the spacer bottom. Then align the screen
over the bottom of the pedestal base. Place a bolt in each
of the four holes and tighten with a socket wrench.
9. Sit mixer upright on table, install paddle and bowl, plug
mixer back into wall receptacle and test operation of mixer
to ensure spacer is secure and properly installed. Operate
mixer in accordance with manufacturers instructions.
