Product description
With the junior moulding set, you can
simultaneously warm 6 beakers filled
with wax or moulding soap using
the au-bain-marie method.
The set consists of the following
components:
• Stainless steel base urn with
insulating coat
• 5 stainless steel beakers with
handles with volumes of app. 1,5l
• 1 stainless steel beaker with
handle with a volume of app. 1,7l
• 1 condenser ring
• I stainless steel rack
The junior moulding set urn heats
its contents according to the safe
au-bain-marie method, which takes
place in water. As a result, the heated
contents can never exceed 100 °C.
The urn is fitted with a 1800 Watt,
230/240 Volt element.
The temperature is adjusted with
the help of a thermostat which
is connected to an indicator lamp.
A cut-out protection prevents
overheating.
The junior moulding set is provided
with an insulating coat made of
heat-proof foam. This insulating coat
maintains the temperature of the
contents for a longer period of time,
decreases the energy consumption
of the urn by up to 35% and increases
the useful life of the thermostat.
In addition, the exterior of the urn is
cooler to the touch.
Installation
1. place the moulding set in
the desired position without its
accessories
2. place the stainless steel rack
inside the urn
3. fill the urn with hot or cold water
4. place the condenser ring on
the urn
5. place the beakers in the urn with
the taller beaker in the middle
6. set the thermostat dial to zero
and insert the plug into an
alternating current 230/240 V
socket with a capacity of at least
10A
Please note!
• Only connect the appliance to
an alternating current 230/240 V
socket with a capacity of at least
10A
• Make sure that the circuit can
handle the load, especially if other
appliances are in use
• Turn off the urn by removing
the plug from the socket. Do not
simply adjust the thermostat
• Make sure that the electrical cord
is not wedged underneath
the appliance
• Never submerge the urn in water
when cleaning
• Regularly monitor the urn’s water
level and add water if necessary
• Refresh the water in the urn at
least every three months and
descale it at the same time
• Keep a log of all maintenance-,
monitoring- and cleaning activities
• Do not place any flammable
substances around the appliance
Directions for use
1. Fill the beakers with wax or
moulding soap
2. Place the beakers in the junior
moulding set. Make sure that
the water level reaches to just
below the condenser ring.
Add water if necessary
3. Set the thermostat dial to
the correct temperature. For wax
a maximum of 90 °C, for moulding
soap a maximum of 60 °C
4. Add colourant and/or perfume
according to the recipe
5. Once the contents are melted
throughout, stir well
6. After use, remove the plug from
the socket. Do not leave
the moulding set constantly on.
This considerably shortens
the useful life of the urn!
Cleaning the urn
1. Remove the beakers from the urn
2. Allow the water in the urn to cool
3. If the urn has been used for wax,
there might be wax residue in
a set layer on top of the water.
Remove this residue
4. Remove the rack from the urn and
pour the water from the urn
5. Clean the inside of the urn with
absorbent paper towel
6. Refill the urn with fresh water
7. Place the condenser ring on
the urn and replace the beakers
