Purpose
This document provides instructions to install and configure the Passport
®
Point Of Sale
(POS) system for use with Competitive Pump and CRIND (CPC). This installation must be
performed only by a Gilbarco
®
Authorized Service Contractor (ASC) with spare parts on site.
Introduction to Passport CPC
The CPC feature is used to interface competitive forecourt equipment with the Passport
system. Currently, the Passport system supports the following competitors’ equipment:
• Dresser

Wayne
®
- Dispensers
- Customer Activated Terminals (CATs)
• Tokheim
®
- Domestic F8 and UDC
- Dispenser Payment Terminal (DPT) and Insight
Though non-Gilbarco dispensers may be installed, the CPC feature assumes their behavior and
sequences to be similar to that of the Gilbarco forecourt equipment.
