Saving an access code
On some networks it may be necessary to add a prefix,
such as “9”, before the telephone numbers for external
calls.

Switching to temporary tone dialing
If your network operates with pulse dialing but tone di-
aling (DTMF) is required (for example, to check the
mailbox), you must switch to tone dialing (DTMF) dur-
ing the call.
Prerequisite:
You are conducting a call!

gency numbers.
