3-3 Removing the Heatsink
Before you remove the heatsink:
• Make sure the system is not turned on or connected to AC power.
Follow these instructions to remove the Heatsink:
1. Loosen four captive screws securing the heatsink to the system.
2. Lift and remove the heatsink from the system.
3. Repeat steps 1 to 2 to remove the other heatsink from the system.
4. Reverse the steps to install the heatsink.

NOTE: The two heatsinks are identical and there is no specific sequential order when loosening the captive
screws.
