Scan Timeout (s) box

      Click to select the scanning time for reading barcode and tag when you 

operate in reader 

menus

. If the barcode/tag is not found after the defining scanning time, then abort 

the scanning operation and return to main menu.

 

 

Screen Auto-Off Time (s) box

      Click to select the idle time. If reader is idle over than this time value, 

it will automatically turn off the screen. When the screen turns off over 3 minutes, device will 

automatically switch from 

wake

 mode to 

sleep

 mode. The lowest value is 60 seconds.

 

 

Show PC Field box     

Clicks to select to show PC field data of EPC bank memory on screen when user 

scan RFID tag displayed in raw data format.

 

 

Save Barcode/EPC data box     

Clicks to select to store the reading barcode/EPC data. You can 

download the data

 to computer and save to a text file.

 

 

On-Screen Menu Selection list

      Clicks to select the on-screen menus for operation. You can refer to 

Selecting Menu

 and

 topics for more information about menus.

 

EPC Translation Settings

 

The 

EPC Translation Settings

 define how reader translates the barcode and EPC.

 

 

This tab has following elements:

 

 

EPC Decoder list

      Clicks to select the format that the reader uses to decode EPC to barcode. If the 

decoding is failed, it will direct to show the EPC binary data in hexadecimal.

 

 

EPC Encoder list

      Clicks to select the format that the reader uses to encode barcode to EPC.

 

 

SGTIN (EAN/UPC (EAS), BSI) group

      Contains required parameters used for translation of EAN/UPC, 

EAN/UPC + EAS and BSI.
