6.3 Connecting/repairing the system cable

Connect strands of the same polarity to each
other

Open up the strands of the two system cables
along a length of 5 cm

Note

Use a large blade for this
Cut on a hard, level surface

Hazard

Do not insure the strand isolation when cutting

Shrink with hot-air gun (shrink temperature
110°C)

Compress shrink tube ends in the hot condition

Hazard

Do not burn your fingers!
