In the event of breakage, replace the body of the appliance (
SCREENS ARE NOT REPLACEABLE)
STAGE 1
Open the appliance by undoing the M3 screw (
A
) which fixes the cap (
B
), the four M4 screws (
C
) and the 4 washers (
D
) which fix the
retainer cap (
E
) to the body (
F
).
Extract the retainer cap (
E
) with the seal (
G
) already fixed and positioned in the seat in the retainer cap (
E
)
Unscrew the four M4 screws (
H
) and the 4 washers (
I
) which fix the black cover plate (
L
) with the 4 spacers (
M
).
STAGE 2
Make 2 holes to allow insertion of 2 expansion plugs (
not supplied
) at the distances apart shown in
FIGURE 2
.
Use of “Fischer” M5 metal expansion plugs with screws of at least Class 8.8 (N) is recommended.
For correct application:
• Select expansion plugs of the appropriate length, considering the load to be supported
(weight of appliance Max 5Kg
+
surface exposed to the wind 0.035 m²) and the type of substrate (concrete-brick, solid-hollow, UNI,
etc...).
STAGE 3
Take the cable (
O
) leading out of the wall (recommended type H05RN-F section 3 x 1.5mm²<HAR>) and fit it into the rubber cable gland
(
P
), breaking the membrane.
Take the body (
F
) and place it over the holes with the expansion plugs already fitted into the wall, and fit the 2 seals(
Q
) into the seats
provided.
Start to screw in the 2 screws (
N
) (recommended size M5) , remembering to fit the 2 flat washers supplied (
R)
between the 2 seals (
Q
)
and the 2 screws (
N
).
Warning: check that the light sources are pointing in the direction required.
Fully tighten (2 Nm) the 2 screws (
N
).
Proceed to wire the terminal board (
S
) as shown in
FIGURE 2
.

earth conductor, yellow/green colour.
N
ð
neutral conductor, blue colour.
Check that the cable gland (
P
) provides a perfect seal, sliding the cable (
O
) back for about a centimetre.
In versions with halogen lamp, silicone sheaths (1 large + 3 small) will be supplied.
Use the large sheath (
K
) to cover the cable (
O
) and the other three (
X
) to cover the three wires (Brown-Yellow/Green-Blue).
If necessary, shorten all the sheaths (
X-K
) to ensure that the three wires and the cable are covered effectively
(FIGURE 4).
If through (cascade) connection is required, break the membrane (
A1
) on the bottom of the body (
F
) with a suitable tool, taking care to
obtain a burr-free hole size Ø20.
Fit the second cable gland (
P1
) (
supplied to order)
(See
FIGURE 5
).
Wire following the procedure described above..
STAGE 4 (for Halogen and Iodide versions only)
Adjust any beams which do not emit light as required, by screwing down or backing off the 4 screws (
T
).
STAGE 5 (only when diffuser and/or dichroic filters are used)
Fit the filters (
W
) into the slot provided on the retainer cap (
E
) and fit the two brackets (
Y
), fixing them with the two M3 screws (
J
),
remembering to fit two toothed washers underneath the heads of the screws (
K
).
STAGE 6
Close the unit by tightening the four M4 screws (
H
) and the 4 washers (
I
) which fix the black cover plate (
L
)
with the 4 spacers (
M
).
Replace the retainer cap (
E
) with the seal (
G
) into the body
(F
), taking care that the seal (
G)
is not pinched or pushed out of place.
When using the wide beam version, take care to ensure that the screens (
V
) remain on the side with the
flat glass (
Z
).
Fix retainer cap (
E
) on the body
(F
), tightening (2.5 N/M) the four M4 screws (
C
), remembering to fit the 4 washers (D) under the heads
of the screws.
Close the appliance by tightening the M3 screw (
A
) which fixes the cap (
B
) onto the retainer cap (
E
), taking care that the ground wire (
U
)
is positioned correctly.
