10. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING
!
Always disconnect the device from the mains before cleaning or
maintenance. Switch off the relevant fuses. Make sure that no water can penetrate
the housing. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

10.1 Base and basin

The base and basin are made of Corian®. The base and basin should be cleaned
regularly to keep the PS in proper condition. See below schedule for detailed
information.

Remove spilt liquids immediately using a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive
detergent.
3.
Persistent contamination:
Try a gentle cleaning action first before you
proceed as described in the schedule below.
4.
Strong/aggressive chemicals:
Remove accidentally-spilt chemicals
immediately (rinse with a lot of soapy water). Unnoticed or prolonged contact
with strong/aggressive chemicals can damage the Corian®-surface.

for solid surface materials.
