10.5.1 How to start the heating program
1.
The large heat dome must be extended completely.

Switch on the MLX iDome / MLX i

(Cube) Dome
using the power switch.

Wait approx. 10 seconds until the control panel is initialised.
4.
If you wish, you can now set a desired display language (German, English,
Dutch or French) using the button
« L
ANGUAGE
».
5.
Then press the button « S
TART
».
6.
The heating program starts.
For quick heating up, after starting, the programme will operate with max.
power (power level 10 / both heat domes) during the pre-heating period
(10 minutes). The heating program then operates for another 30 minutes at
power level 8. After the total time (40 minutes) has elapsed, the heating program
switches off automatically.
7.
After the heating program is finished: always switch off the MLX iDome /
MLX i

(Cube) Dome
using the power switch.

You can set the power levels of the two heat domes at any time, individually,
using the corresponding «
+ / -
» buttons.
❖
If you change the power level during the 10-minute preheating time, the
preheating time is cancelled and the programme continues with the remaining
total time; s. example below.

XAMPLE
1.
Preheating time is displayed = 2 minutes have elapsed; 8 minutes remain.
2.
You
change
the power level of one heat dome or both heat domes from
10 to 7.
3.
The preheating time is cancelled.
4.
The programme continues with a total remaining time of 38 minutes.
5.
After the total time has elapsed, the heating program switches off automatically.
WARNING!
Keep 2-3 cm away from the inside of the foot end of the
small heat dome. RISK OF BURNS!
