Software installation

This chapter of the manual refers to the software Peakanalyzer Manager to control and
manage one or multiple Peakanalyzer in one network.

The following operating systems are supported:

•

Windows 7

•

Windows 8

•

Windows 10

For the installation of Peakanalyzer Manager the installation CD has to inserted into a suitable
drive. If the setup does not start automatically, the file „Peakanalyzer Manager Setup.exe“ can
be started manually from the installation CD. For the installation process administrative
privileges are necessary.

It is recommended to follow the instructions of the installation process. It is also recommended
to install the Peakanalyzer Manager in the suggested directory.

During the setup it will be checked whether the current .NET-Framework and DirectX 9.0c is
installed on the PC. If this is not the case, both programs will be updated.

Furthermore the free of charge program Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012 Express will be
installed on the PC. It serves as data storage for measurement data and analyzed data of the
Peakanalyzer.

After the installation process the Windows start menu contains a link in the program group GfM
to start the Peakanalyzer Manager.
