User Manual Relay Unit GL-RJ
General
GL-RJ is a relay unit used to wirelessly switch on and off lamps, tape recorders,
radio, TV sets, computers and electric heaters. The relay unit is equipped with
built-in IR-receiver for control by a GewaLink transmitter.
An overload protection is built-in.
The relay unit can be programmed to work in four different ways:
•
To switch off and on by the same button on the transmitter.
•
To switch on by one button and switch off by another button on the
transmitter.
•
To switch on and switch off by the same button on the transmitter but also
a specific button to switch off. To be used when several devices in the
same room are to be switched off by one and the same button.
•
Monostable function, which means that the outlets on the relay unit are
power supplied as soon as the button on the transmitter is pressed.
Warning! For security reasons, never connect devices that
require
continous
power supply.
Connection
1.
Connect the relay unit to a wall outlet.
2.
Connect the equipment, which is to be controlled, to the outlet on the relay
unit.
3.
Check that the equipment is power supplied by pressing the programming
buttons for the two left and the two right outlets.
