3.6 Position control functions (P600)
There are four possible positioning variants.
Linear ramp with maximum frequency (Setting (1))
The acceleration is linear. The speed of the constant run is always carried out with the "Maximum frequency" set in
parameter P105.
Linear ramp with setpoint frequency (Setting (2))
The acceleration is linear. The speed of the constant run is set via the setpoint frequency. This can be changed via
the analog input or a bus setpoint.
S-ramp with maximum frequency (Setting (3))
The speed of the constant run is always carried out with the "Maximum frequency" set in parameter P1-5, however
the frequency ramps are carried out as S-ramps in positioning operation. In contrast to the usual linear frequency
increase (or decrease), smoothing is used to change very gently (without jerking) from a static state to the
acceleration or deceleration according to the start-up or braking time. In addition, the acceleration or deceleration is
slowly reduced when the final speed is reached. The S-ramp always corresponds to a smoothing of 100% and is
only valid when positioning also occurs. The effective ramp time doubles due to the S-ramps.
S-ramp with setpoint frequency (Setting (4))
The speed of the constant run is set via the setpoint frequency. However, the frequency ramps are run as S-ramps
in positioning operation. For further details, see previous point.
The setpoint frequency can be changed via the analog input or a bus setpoint.
ATTENTION
The parameter P106 "Ramp smoothing" must continue to be set at "0" during positioning!
Smoothing is not effective if the enable or reference run drive is omitted.
NOTE:
During S-ramp functions, i.e. Setting 3 or 4, it must be noted that the S-ramp is not active during the
reference point run!
