Using Storage Cards
NOTE:
You can use only storage cards. Your Card Reader does not support cards
with I/O (input/output) functions such as a wireless network card or Bluetooth card.
Your computer has a storage card reader. The card reader is a small drive for reading
from and writing to removable storage cards (or called memory cards). The reader
supports SD (Secure Digital), MMC (MultiMediaCard), and MMC Plus cards.
To insert a storage card:
1.
Locate the card reader on the left side of the computer and open the cover.
2.
Align the card with its connector pointing to the slot and its label facing up.
Slide the card into the slot until it reaches the end.
3.
Windows will detect the card and assign it a drive name.
To remove a storage card:
1.
Double-click
My Computer
.
2.
Right-click the drive with the card and select
Eject
.
3.
Slightly push the card to release and then pull it out of the slot.
