Preparation for use

Attaching the Pressure Cuff

1.  Wrap the cuff around the arm. 

The arm should be bare skin.

2. Fasten the cuff in place. Do 

not pull too hard on the cuff 
and do not wrap 

it too tightly.  The 

edge of the cuff 
should be approxi-
mately 2.5 centi-
metres from the 
crook of the arm. 

3.  Attach the cuff on the right arm if it is not possible to 

measure on the left arm.

Posture during measurement

1.   Sit upright and ensure that the cuff is at heart level. Re- 

lax and retain a natural posture during measurement.

2. Measure and record blood pressure at the same time 

every day to establish your blood pressure pattern.
