Removing the Flow Sensor

Do not use single use products more than once!

Clean and disinfect Spirostik and its reusable
components as instructed by the manufacturer
at regular intervals as specified!

Reason: Contamination with transferable germs during
improper disposal. Therefore:

Dispose single use items (disposable flow
sensors, and noseclips) after each use. For this
observe the applicable regulatory requirements
for biologically hazardous materials!
The combination of single use flow sensors and noseclips offers
the highest degree of patient safety from cross contamination
only if all contaminated parts are replaced and disposed of after
the examination.
