UNIVERSAL COMBO
OWNER’S MANUAL
The UC4 Universal Combo is just that: universal. Possible uses include keyboard amplifier,
acoustic guitar amplifier, powered monitor, self-contained P.A. system and many other uses. The
unique wedge shape and stand-mounting adapter allow the UC4 to be positioned in many
different ways to suit any performance or public address situation.
FRONT PANEL FEATURES
(Left to Right)
1.
INPUT 1 – 4:
Controls the volume of sources plugged into channels 1 through 4. Start
with the Master Volume set as described in #8, and slowly bring each channel up to the
desired volume.
2.
EFFECTS 1 – 4:
Controls the amount of each channel being sent to the internal
Accutronics reverb, as well the Effects Send jack on the rear panel.
3.
LO EQ CONTROL:
Controls the frequencies below 125Hz. There is 15 dB of available
boost and cut, shelving type.

LO MID CONTROL:
Controls the lo-mid frequencies centered around 250 Hz. There is
15 dB of available boost or cut, peak/dip type.
5.
HI MID CONTROL:
Controls the hi-mid frequencies centered around 1 kHz. There is 15
dB of available boost and cut, peak/dip type.
6.
HI EQ CONTROL:
Controls the frequencies above 4 kHz. There is 15 dB of available
boost and cut, shelving type.
7.
REVERB MASTER:
Master volume for the internal spring reverb return. This control
does not affect the external Effects Loop.
8.
MASTER VOLUME:
Controls overall output volume of the UC4. Set this control to
approximately 12 o’clock to 3 o’clock for most live performance situations.
9.
HEADPHONE JACK:
Used to connect external headphones. This jack is compatible
with headphones ranging from 8 to 600 ohm impedance.
10.
PHANTOM POWER SWITCH:
15 VDC Phantom power is applied to the XLR input jacks
when this switch is pushed in. Use a small screwdriver or similar object to operate the
switch. DO NOT OPERATE THIS SWITCH WHILE THE AMPLIFIER IS TURNED ON! A
VERY LOUD THUMP COULD OCCUR WHICH COULD DAMAGE THE SPEAKERS,
YOUR HEARING, OR BOTH!
11.
PHANTOM POWER LED:
This yellow LED is illuminated when the Phantom Power is
on.
12.
POWER ON LED:
This green LED is illuminated when power is applied to the UC4.
13.
POWER SWITCH:
Applies mains power to the UC4 when in the UP “1” position.
