For portable generators where the neutral is ﬂoating, the operator's manual shall include the
following wording or equivalent:
The portable generator stator winding is isolated from the frame and from the AC receptacle
ground pin; and Electrical devices that require a connection between one conductor pin and the
grounded receptacle pin may not function properly.
