PDLE-101 GPIB and Ethernet Control
The command list for GPIB and Ethernet control is the same as for RS-232 (see
and the accompanying notes in section 4.4.1.2.)
GPIB:
While controlled by the IEEE 488 GPIB interface, the PDLE-101 can function as a
Talker or Listener on a bus with up to 14 other GPIB devices. The PDLE-101 uses the
CB7210.2 GPIB chip.
Ethernet:
The IP address from an ISP is assigned in one of two ways:
•
Set to an IP which is only good for a limited time, and which is changed
according to the policy set by the ISP's DHCP server. This is a
dynamic IP
address
.
•
Set to an IP address which can be unchanged for months or years at a time. This is
a
static IP address
.
